DoylesRoom offers a nice game variety, with some of the higher-stakes cash games and tournaments available. The games offered at DoylesRoom are Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo, Seven-Card Stud, Five-Card Stud and Five-Card Draw. Full-table games, short-handed, and heads-up tables are all available.

High-limit tables run up to $150/$300 in Fixed-Limit, $200/$400 in No-Limit and $250/$500 in Pot-Limit. Micro-limit tables run as low as 2¢/5¢. The only strange thing about the game variety is the absence of Razz and Seven-Card Stud Hi/Lo.

The large player base ensures action at most game varieties and stakes, making DoylesRoom a very good site for pretty much all poker players.

In all, DoylesRoom is a site with very good ring game traffic at peak hours. It's still somewhat concentrated to Hold'em games, but more and more players are showing interest in Omaha and Seven-Card Stud. DoylesRoom has peak cash game traffic of 2,000 real money players at peak hours (December 2008).

Soft Competition (7)

DoylesRoom offers relatively loose and juicy games - you just have to know where to find them. The short-handed (six players max) tables and turbo games produce wild games with viewed-flop percentages upwards of 55%.

The average viewed-flop percentage for full 10 player tables is just under 40%. For the juiciest tournament play, a player would want to look for the special tournaments that are offered and pretty much any tournament with a buy-in under $10.

Rake (6)

The rake at DoylesRoom is on par with the industry. DoylesRoom uses a fixed schedule for its rake, based on the table limit and number of players. Rakes are usually 5% of the pot with a max rake of between $1 and $3, depending on the number of players at the table. DoylesRoom offer a form of progressive rake rebate at micro limits, taking only between 1¢ and 7¢ from pots at the smallest stakes, and sometimes allowing for as little as 1% rake.
